Cette année, le Moodlemoot accueille le premier Maharamoot francophone. Mahara est un système de gestion de e-portfolios. Développée initialement pour répondre à des besoins de validation de connaissances formelles et informelles dans la population autochtone de Nouvelle Zélande, Mahara est devenue avec les années la solution de gestion de portfolios la plus utilisée en complément de Moodle. Comme ce dernier, Mahara est un projet opensource, gratuit, traduit dans de nombreuses langues dont le français et librement téléchargeable.
Après avoir démarré dans les pays anglo-saxons, l’intérêt des enseignants et des gouvernements européens pour l’utilisation des e-portfolio comme outil d’enseignement et d’apprentissage est en forte croissance.
C’est pourquoi le Moodlemoot 2012 a le plaisir de vous convier à la première réunion des utilisateurs francophone de Mahara et des e-portfolios afin que chacun puisse découvrir cet outil ou échanger sur leurs pratiques.
Cette année, votre inscription vous donne droit d’assister à toutes les conférences Moodle et Mahara, il n’y a pas de droit d’entrée séparé.
]]>This year's conference is aimed at the use of digital media in education to enhance online portfolio.
The conference is currently scheduled for Tuesday 3rd July 2012 at 09:00am. There may additionally be a half-day technical workshop if there is enough interest. We also hope to hold a conference dinner on the evening of Monday 2nd July.
Early-bird tickets for the conference are only £72 per person including VAT and the half day technical workshop will be free for conference delegates. Please note that places will be limited at the Mahara developer workshop, please confirm by email if you would like to attend it. Early bird registration will last till May 28th, 2012.

Since 2003 we have established a solid track record as a leading forum for connecting practitioners, researchers, technologists and policy makers in exploring ePortfolio and Identity practices and technologies. The conference is appreciated for its ability to explore current issues while leading the path towards possible futures. Past events have resulted in transnational projects, contributions to policies and standards, networks and partnerships as well as numerous publications.
A special track is dedicated to healthcare education and practice. Proceedings for healthcare track will be published in the International Journal of Clinical Skills (IJOCS)

The environment in which we construct and express our identities in the 21st century is being dominated by the ubiquitous presence of digital networks and media. To what extent do digital networks and media contribute to renewed forms of emancipation and/or alienation? How can we maximise their beneficial effects to empower autonomous identity construction, whilst minimising adverse consequences? Does the emergence of a Cyberspace challenge our current understanding of identity construction? Is it primarily an issue of 'assimilation' (integrate new means to do slightly differently what we did before) or 'accommodation' (the need to transform our representations and invent new practices)? What is the impact on the future of education, practice, research, technologies, business models, policies, etc.? Is there a risk that identity-related technologies and regulations might be retrofitted to the 'real world' with negative consequences on our freedom? How can citizens be empowered to make contributions to the technology and policy debates on identity issues?
