<p style="padding: 0px; ">The conference provides a forum where researchers, practitioners, policy-makers, teachers, trainers, human resource managers and technologists can discuss theoretical and practical aspects in the planning, design, implementation and impact of ePortfolio and identity programmes, applications and services.</p>
<p style="padding: 0px; ">Since 2003 we have established a solid track record as a leading forum for connecting practitioners, researchers, technologists and policy makers in exploring ePortfolio and Identity practices and technologies. The conference is appreciated for its ability to explore current issues while leading the path towards possible futures. Past events have resulted in transnational projects, contributions to policies and standards, networks and partnerships as well as numerous publications.</p>

    <title>ePortfolios as a Catalyst for Connections: Celebrating the Curious, Creative and Capable Learner</title>

    <description>For the third year, AAEEBL members and eportfolio practitioners from around the world will gather at the Seaport World Trade Center on stunning Boston Harbor for the AAEEBL Annual Conference. Once again, AAEEBL is co-locating with Campus Technology, and attendees will be welcome to attend either AAEEBL or CT sessions.</description>

<ul>
<li>This year AAEEBL will hold its first AAEEBL members' meeting.</li>
<li>This year will also represent the first year for a K-12  Institute to be held all day during the Monday workshop times (July  16). </li>
<li>All keynote sessions will be interactive, not "just talks." </li>
<li>Concurrent session rooms will be set up in the round, not in ranks to encourage participation. </li>
<li>In keeping with the participatory nature of this conference,  featured will be approximately 30 poster sessions positioned with a  special snack set-up to encourage interaction. </li>
<li>By popular demand, "conversations with..." sessions will return  presenting opportunities for informal discussion with keynote speakers  and other eportfolio leaders. </li>
<li>Keynoters will focus on fundamental issues related to learning and influencing policy-makers in education. </li>
<li>Our local arrangements institution will be Tufts University.</li>
